Houston at Minnesota

Houston bounced back from Monday's 1-0 loss with a vengeance by beating the Twins 11-0 while hitting three homers and banging out 15 hits. The Astros have now won six of the last eight meetings and Minnesota's four-game winning streak was snapped although three of those wins were against lowly Baltimore. Collin McHugh goes for the Astros and his 4.78 ERA was inflated by one terrible outing at Texas, but otherwise the right-hander has pitched well. McHugh has allowed seven runs in 16 2/3 innings versus the Twins the last three seasons. Martin Perez has not faced Houston since 2017 when he gave up seven earned runs in 10 2/3 innings. Houston has won eight of the last 11 meetings at Target Field and 21 of its last 29 versus left-handed starters overall.
