How much would you have given me if I offered you a bet on whether the Cubs would sweep the Astros facing Roy Oswalt, Roger Clemens and Andy Pettite? Well they did it! I don't think that says as much about the Cubs as it does about the Astros. They were shutout in two of thos three games. They've lost five straight and over their past seven games they are averaging 2.9 runs per game. That just doesn't cut it. I have a system that fades teams off a shutout in certain situations that is 28-5 this season and Houston qualifies here. Houston is still a bit depleted and tired from their 18-inning marathon on Tuesday. They have to start Jason Hirsh here who has made but one MLB start in which he posted a 9.00 ERA. Fade Houston right now as they are tired and just can't score. If you can't win one game at home against the Cubs with Oswalt, Clemens or Pettite, how can you expect to win on the road with Hirsh?
