Houston at Los Angeles

The LA Dodgers added to the Houston Astros playoff road woes, where they have now scored just six total runs in their last four games. Rich Hill was out of baseball in 2009, but he returned in 2015 and finished this season at 17-10. Hill has won five straight and is delivering his best stretch on the mound in a long time, and opponents have been held to two or fewer runs in four of them. Justin Verlander has been a force, and the current Houston roster sports a lifetime .188 average against him. The Dodgers can match Verlander, but what comes after that will be the difference. The LA bullpen has been lights-out, and Houston has been having problems. Houston has really struggled vs. left-handed starters this season. Versus righties, this team is 84-40. But when facing southpaws like they are tonight, the Astros are just 24-26. The Dodgers are also 29-5 this season at home after a great defensive performance in which they allowed under three runs in their previous game. Take LA to win Game 2.
