Houston at Los Angeles

We get a soild dog today in the Houston Astros as they play the LA Dodgers. Wandy Rodriguez has been one of the pleasant suprises for the Astros this year as he is 4-1 with a 3.27 ERA. The Dodgers have been playing very solid baseball but I beleive the Astros step up to the plate and avoid the sweep as Wandy tries to rebound from his first loss of the sesaon to the Rockes in his last game. Izturis (ss), Mueller (3b) and Gagne (closer) are all still out for the Dodgers as the Astros look for a win desperately in this road trip. I look for the Astros bats to step up today behind a strong performance from Rodriguez. The Dodgers are just 5-13 this season as a favorite and 9-19 in day games with Lowe on the mound over the past three seasons. Houston here.
