Houston at Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Angels have finally reached their potential after two and a half seasons of leaving everyone shaking their heads. They have put away the Oakland A's and now look towards maintaining the best record in baseball. They certainly have a strong opportunity here behind Jered Weaver. No one has done it much better in the role of a home favorite in their career as Weaver has pitched the Angels to an 88-35 mark in this role. He has also led them to a 6-1 record in his last seven in this role this season. Houston has been futile on the road for years, and behind Feldman they are 1-7 in his last eight as a road dog. The Angels have cashed in on 40 of Weaver's last 52 home starts, and Houston is 0-7 in their last seven played here in LA. Take the Angels as my MLB Game of the Month.
