Houston at Cleveland

Cleveland is 50-30 at home and will have the No. 2 seed in the American League playoffs as the Yankees clinched the top spot yesterday. Nick Sandlin will start a bullpen game for the Guardians, who have won five of nine although they dropped the first two games of this series. Houston is locked in as the No. 3 seed and Ryan Gusto is scheduled to make his major-league debut on the mound for the Astros. Gusto made 26 starts in Triple-A and posted a 3.70 ERA in 148 1/3 innings. The Guardians have won nine of 12 Sunday home games and they are 11-5 their past 16 games against AL West opponents.
