Bret Myers finished the season strong for the Astros last year, and hopes were strong he could maintain that high level into 2011. He started strong, but has really struggled in his last three outings, yielding 12 runs in 18.1 innings of work, for a 5.89 ERA. Cincinnati will go with Homer Bailey who closed out 2010 with five very good starts. He will make his 2011 debut this afternoon. The Astros have really struggled against right-hand pitchers at a dismal 31-63 in their last 94 times facing one. Myers is struggling on the hill, and the Stros’ woes vs. right handers, and on the road spells runline value here. Play Cincinnati on the runline.
