Houston held the Boston Red Sox to single digits and won 7-6 last night as George Springer hit a two-run homer and drove in four runs. It was the first time Boston hadn't scored at least 11 runs in five games. The Astros have another chance at a win today as Collin McHugh has pitched better recently after a rough start to the season and comes off a 5-1 decision over Seattle when he allowed just one run and five hits in seven innings. McHugh is 3-0 with a 3.57 ERA his last three outings. Clay Buchholz is 2-3 with a 5.90 ERA and in danger of losing his spot in the rotation. The right-hander has given up 16 runs and 23 hits his last 24 innings pitched and was bailed out of his last start when the Red Sox scored 14 runs. In one appearance against the Astros this season, Buchholz allowed five runs in 5 2/3 innings. Also, Buchholz has a 5.48 ERA at home this year. Play the underdog Astros.
