Houston is a big dog here despite having one of their best arms on the mound. Brett Myers is throwing well with 1 walk and 15 strikeouts his last three starts. The Astros are 5-2 in Myers' last seven starts with the total set at 9.0-10.5 and this is a good offensive ball park in Arizona. Joe Saunders of the Diamondbacks knows it’s a tough park to pitch in, at 2-5 with a 4.66 ERA at home. Saunders allowed four runs over 5.1 innings and was the losing pitcher Saturday against the Dodgers. He gave up 8 hits while walking 1 and striking out 4.
