Houston may be the worst team in baseball, but they have been playing much better especially on the road. The Astros are 3-4 in their last seven road tilts which may not seem that good, but when you consider that they have been a dog of greater than +160 in all seven, they have become a highly-profitable road option, with their improved play. Last night they won big here 9-1 and get a shot at newly acquired Jason Marquis. Marquis struggled in his Arizona debut and has pitched poorly of late having a "convenience store” ERA of 7.11 in his last five starts. The D-backs are not efficient in their last five at 1-4, catching a Houston team playing well, so the odds aren't justified here. Houston gets the call.
