Detroit's weak lineup has scored a total of two runs in three games and the Tigers send Matt Moore to the mound and he comes off a 3-8 season in which he had a 6.79 ERA in 39 games pitched, including 12 starts. Moore was 1-5 with a 7.08 ERA and .330 opponent batting average before the All-Star break last year and in two appearances against Toronto he gave up six runs on six hits in 4 1/3 innings. Trent Thornton will make his big league debut and throws a fastball in the mid-90s along with a great curveball. Detroit hitters should have even more trouble with someone they haven't seen before. The Tigers are 16-44 their last 60 road games versus right-handed starters and 14-37 their last 51 road games overall. Toronto has won 14 of the last 19 meetings at home. Play the Blue Jays.
