There has arguably not been a more dominating, and durable pitcher over the last few seasons than Justin Verlander. The Tigers were 78-31 over his last four seasons where he posted an ERA of less than 2.65 in each of the last two. All that work may finally be catching up to him. For the first time in since 2006, he is allowing more hits than innings pitched and his ERA is well over a run higher at 3.77 than it has been the last two years. Esmil Rogers has actually out-pitched him with an ERA of 3.12 in 60 innings of work, and can certainly hold his own in this matchup. The Tigers an unimpressive 3-8 in Verlander's last 11 starts as a favorite from -110 to -150, while the Jays are now 4-0 behind Rogers on regular four days rest in his last four. Take Toronto.
