Detroit is just 6-12 and facing AJ Burnett but are close to even money here? Hmmmm. We're not taking the bait. The fact is, after starting out 2-6, the Tigers have won four of their last six. Their bats have come alive as they are averaging 5.9 runs per game over their last seven games. Toronto is just 4-6 at home and they have struggled mightily vs. left-handers so far (3.5 runs per game). They have gotten just 12 home runs thus far and that bodes well for Detroit who is 38-20 the past two seasons vs. teams averaging under 1 HR per game. The Tigers are 55-44 the past there seasons as a dog of +100 to +150 and given their apparent turnaround, we like them here.
