Detroit at Texas

The young and talented Detroit Tigers are still a year or two away, but they play in the AL Central, and despite being 10 games under .500 they are just three games in the loss column from first place. The Texas Rangers are just 1-3 in their last four games, and these teams have split the first two games of this series in Texas. The Rangers really had the home magic working as they started the season 21-8 in their first 29 home games. They have been sputtering since and are just 4-6 in their last 10 in Arlington. The Tigers have allowed four or fewer runs in 10 of their last 12 games. That has enabled them to go 4-2 in their last six on the road. I like Detroit in this one.
