Detroit at Texas

Detroit has been playing better than expected lately, but not with Jose Urena on the mound as he has been shelled his last four starts, allowing 25 runs (22 earned) on 25 hits in only 13 innings, including four runs on five hits in 3 1/3 innings against Cleveland on Wednesday. Urena has a 6.22 ERA, and opponents are batting .294 against him. Texas has won Dane Dunning's last two starts, and he pitched four scoreless innings against Oakland on Thursday. The Rangers admittedly have been horrible on the road, but they are 20-22 at home, and the Tigers have an 18-24 road record.
