The Detroit Tigers have their ace on the mound in Justin Verlander. Things have not been right with him after an expected strong start. Verlander opened the season with his first seven starts producing an ERA of 1.55 and it appeared that he was heading for a Cy Young type of season. That has changed dramatically over his last eight starts where his ERA has jumped to 6.04. That doesn't bode well here, especially on the road against a Tampa Bay team that has excelled at home in the role of a dog where they are 10-3 in their last 13. The Tigers have dropped 7 of their last 10 behind Verlander as a road favorite from -110 to -150, so nothing automatic here. Take Tampa Bay.
