Detroit at Seattle

Seattle is amidst their best run of the season, winning seven of their last nine games and five of their last six. Detroit was red hot but has now dropped two straight for the first time in about a month. Justin Verlander has not even come close to resembling the pitcher that finished 18-6 last year, as the Tigers are just 5-12 in his 17 starts. That is already two more games than they lost all of last year with him on the hill, and also 17 wins less! The M's are finally playing good and have got something going, and we will back them as a home dog in this one.
