Justin Verlander had a spotty year for the Tigers, finishing with his highest ERA since 2008. His once dominating 100 MPH fastball has lost a few MPHs as he is consistently under 95 now. I think Oakland is going to get some good at-bats against him in this game. Sonny Gray finished strong and overall was 5-3 for the A's with a 2.67 ERA. This game is likely to see a lot more scoring opportunities than yesterday. Oakland has been strong in the role of a dog from +110 to +150 where they are 8-1 in their last nine.
