Detroit at Oakland

The Detroit Tigers had it in overdrive, as they appeared to be on their way to a special season, but how quickly that has changed. The Tigers' pitching has been a mess, and their bullpen is extremely overworked.Detroit's last eight games have seen opponents score 67 runs. To put that in perspective, Detroit's pitching had allowed 43 runs in their previous 18 games. Each of their last three opponents have hung double-digits on them, and it won't get any easier today, with two-time AL West Champion, and AL West leading Oakland to battle. The A's have dominated good pitching as they are 31-15 in their last 46 vs. a pitcher with a WHIP of less than 1.15, and are 76-35 in their last 11 as a home favorite. Take Oakland.
