Detroit at Oakland

After a 0-6 start, the Oakland A's are on a 7-1 run and they have won six straight contests. They will certainly be vulnerable with Cole Irvin on the mound as his first two outings this season have been poor. The Tigers have been competitive coming into this series after three straight wins as a dog of +170 or more. They have dropped the first two in this series. They certainly have the edge on the hill for this one with Casey Mize getting the ball. Mize has been impressive in Tiger wins over Houston and Zack Greinke on the road 6-2 and a 4-3 win vs J.A. Happ and Minnesota at home. I look for the Tigers to be competitive here and will make the play on Detroit on the run line.
