The Tigers thought they had one last night with Justin Verlander on the mound. The Yankees had other ideas and rallied twice from a two run deficit against the Tiger's ace, to come away with a walk off win. That has to leave the Yankees feeling good and at the Stadium they have been big vs. winning road teams where they are a resounding 67-33 in their last 100. The Yanks, at one time, were easy prey to lefthand pitching but that has dramatically changed as the Bombers have become lethal vs. southpaws at 39-17 in their last 56. The Tigers have been a dreadful 29-57 in their last 86 on the road as a dog of +110 to +150 and New York has not been a healthy place for this team as they are just 17-39 in their last 56 here.
