Detroit is 3-0 after sweeping the White Sox on the road by an 11-8 count. The Tigers are on a 44-40 run on the road and MLB teams that come off a three-game sweep of a division rival are 36-8 in interleague action. New York is 0-3 getting outscored 14-8. The offense was bad last year (20th in runs scored and on-base percentage) and doesn't look much better. Starter Sean Manaea is on his third team in as many years after ERAs of 4.96 with San Diego in 2022 and 4.44 with San Francisco last season.
