Detroit at Minnesota

Detroit has suffered in every facet of the game while losing four in a row, including Friday's 6-3 defeat after blowing a 3-0 lead. The Tigers were terrible defensively in a three-game sweep at the hands of Tampa Bay and also had little timely hitting or good pitching. Also, Miguel Cabrera left the game with a groin injury last night. Adalberto Mejia comes off a start against the White Sox in which he allowed one run and four hits in five innings with four strikeouts. The Tigers will be facing him for the first time. Matthew Boyd gave up a run and seven hits in six innings at Cleveland on Sunday, but the Tigers are just 3-6 on the road. Even with its horrible season last year, Minnesota still has won 40 of its last 59 home games against teams with road winning percentages of .400 or less. Detroit can't be trusted due to its recent shoddy play. Take the Twins.
