Detroit at Minnesota

Detroit starter Casey Mize has generally looked good after returning from Tommy John surgery as he has allowed seven runs in 15 1/3 innings and the Tigers have won all three of his starts. The Tigers' pitching has been their bright spot this year, but they are scoring only 3.76 runs per game and Minnesota scores 3.47. Detroit allows opponents 3.95 runs per game. The Tigers have the best bullpen by far in the majors with a 1.60 ERA and a 1.00 WHIP and seven saves. The Twins' relievers also are doing well with a 2.84 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP. The UNDER is 5-0-1 in Mize's past six starts in the third game of a series and Mize is 5-0 UNDER versus AL Central teams although most of those games were before his surgery.
