Detroit at Miami

The Detroit Tigers' work is done for the season. They trail Boston by three games for the best record in the AL, but also trail Oakland. And with just three games left, they have nothing to do here except rest some nagging injuries, and get their rotation set for the playoffs. Miami isn't exactly going to inspire much attention, but for the young Marlins team, beating a team that has won over 90 games should supply some energy here. Miami has been playing with no prize ahead, just the opportunity to get noticed for next year and take down a good team. The motivated team here is playing at home as a dog, and I like their chances in this one. Play on Miami.
