Detroit at Los Angeles

Detroit never seems to get any better and it lost again on Wednesday, 6-2 to Philadelphia, for the Tigers' seventh loss in 10 games. Davis Daniel is scheduled to make his first start for Los Angeles in 2024 after allowing three runs in 12 1/3 innings in three relief appearances last year. The Angels are 4-0 their past four in Game 1 of a series and Detroit has lost its past four road contests. Jack Flaherty has been pitching well, but the Tigers are a weak hitting team that has scored two or fewer runs in eight of their past 10 games. They shouldn't be this big a favorite against anyone. The Angels just swept a three-game series versus Oakland as their offense has come alive outscoring the Athletics 17-8 in the three games. Take the Angels.
