The Royals lost a tough one here last night, but overall they have done a better job at home than the Tigers have done on the road. Rick Porcello after a fantastic rookie year going 14-9 with a stellar 3.96 ERA, has been in decline. Porcello has since pitched under .500 baseball with an ERA of 4.92 a year ago, and an almost duplicate 4.96 this season at the midway mark. Games with offensive potential lined with a total of 9-10.5 have not been Porcello's forte, as the Tigers are 5-12 when he starts and overall, a dismal 22-50. The Tigers are facing a double negative here as they are also 19-45 in their last 64 on the road facing a righthander. Portello hasn't been the same since his rookie year, allowing 5 per start says Kansas City on the runline.
