The Kansas City Royals are a chilling 13-27 on the road, but they have certainly held their own at home where they reside just south of the coveted .500 mark at 23-24 for the season. That puts them in this one as the better team and on the plus side of the moneyline vs. a Tigers team that has more often than not been tripped-up on the road at just 19-23. Max Scherzer may be 9-4, but his ERA is hovering around 5, and he has been awful over his last eight starts where he has allowed 36 runs in 41.1 innings for a top-heavy 7.84 ERA.
