Detroit at Cleveland

Cleveland had high hopes for this series as they were within striking distance of the Tigers, but Detroit has flexed their muscles and have taken the heart out of the Tribe by winning the first two games of this four game series. The Tribe now trails the Tigers by five games. It has been a struggle this season for Justin Verlander, but he has won his last two starts to move back over .500 for the season with 12 wins. Danny Salazar did not make it out of the fifth inning against Detroit in his only start against them this season, allowing 5 runs. For his career, over three starts, he's sporting a very poor 4.43 ERA against them. The Tigers have been teeing off on the road vs. right-handed pitching where they have won six straight. The Tribe has not recovered recently after dropping the first two games of a series at 1-6 in their last seven. Detroit gets this one.
