Justin Verlander is on his way to one of the most impressive seasons in the five-man rotation era. Verlander has already won 22 games on the season, and counting tonight's game, he is projected to get at least four more starts, and could be a 25-game winner. Bob welch was the last pitcher in baseball to post a 25-win season over 20 years ago. The Tigers are 21-3 in Verlander's last 24 starts, so although this line looks like heavy chalk, based on what we have seen from Verlander, the opposite is true. The Tigers have also won his last eight road starts. The White Sox have been a bad team at home facing off against a winning team, where they are just 2-10 in their last 12 games against them. This one goes to Detroit.
