Detroit at Chicago

Detroit enjoyed one of its best games of the year on Saturday as it clobbered the White Sox 10-0 for the Tigers' third straight win. Andre Lipcius' first hit in the majors was a two-run homer in a four-run first and the Tigers cruised the rest of the way and Chicago fell to 28-39 at home. The White Sox have lost nine of 12 at home and 10 of 14 overall as underdogs and they'll face Tarik Skubal today. Skubal has a 1.07 WHIP and he has given Detroit five or six solid innings. He allowed two earned runs on three hits in six innings against the Yankees on Tuesday. Michael Kopech is 5-12 with a 5.08 ERA and 1.53 for the White Sox and he seldom has made it past the fourth inning recently, including his last outing when was touched for four runs on seven hits in four innings as Chicago lost 9-0 to Baltimore on MOnday.
