Detroit at Chicago

This line is going to look low to most, as the mighty Tigers should have their way with Chicago who is now 18 games under .500. The problem is that the Tigers have been a break-even .500 team on the road. They have their weakest link in the rotation, Ricky Porcello, on the mound for this one backed by a shaky bullpen. White Sox starter Hector Santiago has a 3-5 record, but great numbers with a 3.30 ERA in 87 innings of work. He posted a similar 3.33 ERA last year and in 150 innings over the last two years has allowed just 124 hits while striking out 170. The Tigers are just 1-6 in Porcello's last seven starts as a favorite from -110 to -150. This looks like a live dog here with a better and more efficient starter and bullpen. Take the White Sox.
