Detroit at Chicago

Both the Chicago White Sox and Detroit Tigers are in a rebuilding situation. The White Sox were supposed to move from a rebuild to a contender this season, but their young players have not come of age yet, and they are floundering at 39-42 on the season. Detroit is 35-47 on the season, but like a lot of poor teams, they go through stretches of the season where they get some confidence-building mojo going and play over their head. That is the case with Detroit right now. The Tigers won 2-1 last night in the series opener, giving them five straight wins, all as a dog. Their underdog winning streak has now reached six in a row and eight of their last 10. I like Detroit in this one. Back the Tigers.
