Detroit at Boston

Just looking at the Red Sox lineup last night shows that they are in a team slump. Outside of Big Papi, the Boston averages are just about to a man running below their career numbers, and the young players have had a tough time adjusting to MLB pitching. Rick Porcello has looked as good as he has since his stellar rookie season, and enters at 6-1 with a 3.22 ERA on the season. John Lackey has also looked a lot like the pitcher the Sox thought they were getting when he came over from the Angels, as he has been 5-2 with a 3.57 ERA. The Tigers are now 9-2 to the UNDER on the road vs. a losing team. The BoSox are an impressive 28-8-2 behind Lackey when starting on grass in his last 38. The UNDER gets the call in this one.
