Detroit at Boston

The Detroit Tigers have struggled this season, and come into their 60th game as a team that is under .500. The Red Sox were supposed to be challenging the Cleveland Indians for top dog in the AL, and at 32-27 they have been a bit less than advertised. Brian Johnson takes the ball for the Red Sox tonight, and his last start was a 6-0 gem vs. Seattle. Jordan Zimmermann was penciled in to be a big winner, after winning 19 games or more in four of the last five seasons, and he is undervalued off a mediocre start. Johnson may have been good his last time out, but the Toronto Blue Jays rocked him for seven runs in his only other start, and like the Jays, the Tigers have some big bats. Take Detroit.
