Detroit at Baltimore

The Detroit Tigers are having their way in the AL Central as their overall record of 21-12 bests the second place team by five games. The Birds have vaulted into first place in the much more competitive AL East at 20-15. The Tigers are not playing well right now, dropping three of their last four at home, all against losing teams, while Baltimore has snagged the win in five of their last six. Rick Porcello and Bud Norris have pitched about the same on the season, but Porcello has enjoyed more support and is 5-1. Porcello has not fared well vs. Baltimore over his career as he is 2-5 with a 4.62 ERA in eight career starts against them. And his recent track record vs. the AL East is an even worse 1-7 in his last eight. The O's have come up big behind Norris at home where they are 6-1 in his last seven starts.
