Detroit at Baltimore

Detroit snapped a four-game winning streak, losing 5-2 to the Orioles on Saturday, and the Tigers now face Ubaldo Jimenez, who is coming off two strong outings, including allowing only a run on five hits in seven innings against the Royals on Monday. Jimenez had given up two runs in six innings at Tampa Bay in his previous start. Baltimore still is in the hunt for a Wild Card spot and is 34-23 at home while the Tigers are in fourth place in the AL Central with a 24-33 road record. Anibal Sanchez has a 5.83 ERA and has split time between the bullpen and starting. Sanchez had a 5.53 ERA in July and will face Baltimore for the first time this season. Last year in one appearance against the Orioles, he gave up four runs on six hits in six innings. Play the Orioles.
