Weak-hitting Detroit miraculously scored 13 runs on Friday night and it usually takes the Tigers four or five games to score that many so look for them to revert to their normal form tonight against Zac Gallen, who is 5-2 with a 2.86 ERA and a 1.11 WHIP this season. Gallen has won his past two starts while allowing only two runs on five hits in 12 innings and he has been untouchable at home with a 3-0 record and an 0.53 ERA. Jack Flaherty goes for Detroit and he is one of the Tiger pitchers that has been a victim of poor run support. The Diamondbacks are 7-0 in Gallen's past seven starts in the second game of a series and they have won six of seven against right-handed starters.
