The oddsmakers are not in the Nats’ camp, despite the numbers which speak loudly of advances this team has made over the several previous years. The first place that the improvements show themselves is at home where the Nats have delivered a 27-17 mark in their ballpark this season. The Rockies are once again suffering road woes where they reside comfortably below the .500 mark. Last year's success is following Ubaldo Jimenez this season, but the results are not. Despite him pitching a bit better, the Rockies are still 3-6 in his last nine starts. The Nats are a healthy 12-5 on the season when Marquis gets the ball, and 8-1 in his last nine home starts. The runline looks like a winner here, so I will play Washington on the runline.
