The Toronto Blue Jays were expected to contend in the rough AL East, but injuries, and a poor start kept this team from making any noise. Things have changed as the surging Jays are on a six-game winning streak, and the great pitching has become contagious. The Jays' staff has allowed a skimpy 4 runs in their last five games, with a pair of shutouts, and held the Rockies scoreless here last night. Jeff Francis was once at the top of the Rockies' rotation, but is clinging to a spot in the rotation, with a 5.57 ERA on the season. The Rockies are just 6-21 in their last 27 on turf, and have not done well over the border in Toronto, losing their last seven. Take Toronto.
