Colorado at Texas

The Texas Rangers made a lot of changes over the off-season, and they are paying dividends. This is a team that lost 94 games a year ago and currently stands atop the AL West with a 27-17 mark. The Rangers opened their 3-game series at home vs the Rockies with a rather east 7-2 verdict. Colorado is off a season that saw them with an identical record to the Rangers at 68-94, but this team has not improved at all. The road has always been an issue for the Rockies as they build their team offensively to succeed at hitter-friendly Coors Field. They were 27-54 on the road last year and just 9-14 so far this year. I like Texas in this one.
