Colorado at St. Louis

Colorado came up just short on Saturday, scoring three runs in the eighth, but losing 9-8 to the Cardinals. The Rockies will try again today as German Marquez looks to rebound from a horrible outing against the Giants on Tuesday. Adam Wainwright also comes off a bad showing against the Mets when he allowed five runs on seven hits in 5 2/3 innings on Monday. Colorado hitters are batting .314 against Wainwright in 35 at-bats. The Cardinals have lost six of their past eight games in the third game of a series, and I look for Colorado to salvage a game in this series. Take the Rockies.
