He has made three starts for his new team, and two of them were strong starts allowing 1 and 2 runs for manager Tony LaRussa, who knows how to handle pitchers. St. Louis has a powerful offense, fourth in runs scored, third in on-base percentage and fifth in slugging, and faces Esmil Rogers. The kid is a wild one, walking 20 in 40 innings. Throw in the 49 hits allowed and thats 69 base runners in 40 innings, which explains a 5.85 ERA.
