Colorado at Seattle

Seattle is playing better than it has all season winning eight of its past nine games, including the last five in row, and the Mariners are off a 2-1 win over Colorado on Tuesday. Shed Long, Jr. hit a solo homer to break an eighth inning tie and the Mariners improved to 24-15 at home and Colorado fell to a miserable 5-28 on the road. The Rockies have lost three in a row and they are 10-25 their past 35 games versus left-handed starters, 16-41 overall after scoring two or fewer runs their previous game. Seattle has won six of its last seven as an underdog and the Rockies being favored on the road is almost unheard of this year. German Marquez is 0-5 with a 5.74 ERA on the road where opponents are batting .298 against him. Take the Mariners.
