Colorado at San Francisco

San Francisco finally won a game last night after 11 consecutive losses, but the euphoria will be short-lived as the Giants are up against German Marquez in tonight's matchup. Colorado has won five of Marquez's last six starts and he has allowed a total of only eight earned runs in that span. One of those wins was against the Giants on Sept. 4 when he allowed two runs on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings. Also, Marquez has a sparkling 2.83 ERA on the road this season and he is 8-3 with a 3.26 ERA in night games. Marquez is 4-1 with a 2.63 ERA since the All-Star break with a .209 opponent batting average. The Rockies are 40-33 on the road and they clobbered Madison Bumgarner on Sept. 3 scoring seven runs on eight hits in five innings. Colorado has won 10 of its last 11 Saturday games and the Giants are 1-7 in Bumgarner's last eight Saturday starts. Take the Rockies.
