Colorado at San Diego

San Diego goes for the sweep of the Rockies after a 6-3 win last night. Normally light-hitting, the Padres scored six runs, including a home run by Matt Kemp, who has battered Colorado pitching this season. Kemp is batting .364 against Tyler Chatwood who takes the mound today for the Rockies. Cesar Vargas has allowed one run in 10 1/3 innings for the Padres with nine strikeouts. San Diego has won four of its last five games overall and has won 20 of the last 26 meetings in San Diego, including five of the last six contests against Colorado overall. The Rockies obviously have a difficult time adjusting to a pitchers park, so play the Padres.
