Colorado won 9-4 on Friday night as Ryan McMahon hit a grand slam and Jon Gray threw a solid seven innings allowing two runs on seven hits. German Marquez is on the mound tonight for the Rockies and he has pitched well in June and July and he shut out the Padres on three hits the only time he faced them this year. San Diego has lost three of Yu Darvish's past four starts and he has given up 16 runs on 23 hits in 19 2/3 innings in that span, including a 5-4 loss at Miami on Sunday when he allowed four runs in five innings.
