Colorado at San Diego

Colorado had the day off yesterday and now goes to San Diego and the Rockies have won five of the last seven meetings. Colorado is also 38-30 on the road this season while the Padres are 25-43 at home. Colorado has won 12 of its last 17 overall and five of its last six road contests. Also, the Rockies have won five of German Marquez's last six road starts and eight of his last 10 starts overall. The Padres have lost 19 of their last 28 games versus right-handed starters and they are 1-4 in Eric Lauer's last five home starts. Marquez has not allowed more than three runs in any of his last six outings and he comes off seven scoreless innings on three hits in a 9-1 win over St. Louis on Saturday. Also, Marquez is 7-3 with a 2.89 ERA on the road with a .199 opponent batting average.  In two appearances against San Diego this year, Marquez has given up just two runs in eight innings.
