Colorado at San Diego

The last time these teams met they set a record for most runs in a series. Things will be different at pitcher-friendly Petco Park and Eric Lauer has done his best work there with a 2.60 ERA compared to 6.20 on the road. Colorado just got bombarded in a two-game series at Houston as the Rockies were outscored 25-9 and they have lost 16 of their last 21 road games and 23 of their last 31 overall. Also, the Rockies are 3-11 versus NL West teams and 1-10 their last 11 games against left-handed starters.  San Diego has won four of Lauer's last five home starts while Jon Gray is coming off a rough outing against San Francisco by giving up four runs on nine hits in four innings.
