Colorado at Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is glad to be back home following a 1-5 road trip and the Pirates get to play the Rockies, who have become the first team since 1900 to have trailed at one point in each of their first 31 games. Colorado is 2-14 on the road this season and it is on a current five-game losing streak, including a three-game sweep at lowly Miami. Martin Perez starts for the Pirates and he has a 2.86 ERA while allowing only 11 earned runs in 34 2/3 innings pitched. Pittsburgh won his last start 4-3 in 10 innings against San Francisco on Saturday when he gave up one unearned run in six innings. The Pittsburgh bullpen has nine saves and a 1.28 WHIP this year. Cal Quantrill is 0-3 with a 5.34 ERA and he allowed six runs in five innings his last outing against Houston in a 12-4 loss.
